So what do you do with a fresh Pomfret on your hands?


One tablespoon of Sesame Oil.
One and a half tablespoon of Light Soy Sauce.
One tablespoon of Dark Soy Sauce.
Some Pepper.
One teaspoon of Sugar.
Some fresh Lemon Juice.
Traditional Indon Sambal.

Mix them all in a bowl and steam for 15minutes.
Mix in the chopped Basil and Spring Onions.

FISH.
Clean it.
Molest it with salt; especially the inside.
Stuff some Ginger Slice, Garlic and Small Onions in the 'gut'.
Spread Ginger Slices (as much as you want) on the fish.
Steam for about 10minutes.
POUR AWAY THE WATER.
THEN;
Pour the sauce over the fish.

NYOM NYOM NYOM!
